Account Executive Shelbi Okumura rounds out the talented team at Spin Communications. A San Jose native and graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Shelbi brings fresh ideas and an enthusiasm for public relations to Spin Communications. Educated during an era of ever-changing technology, Shelbi is technology savvy with experience in Web 2.0 outlets including social networking, blogs, podcasting, Internet research, online media placement, wikis and more. She is also accomplished in media relations with experience pitching and placing stories in dozens of newspapers, magazines and with television stations across the country for Spin clients. Shelbi maintains excellent relationships with clients and consistently exceeds expectations.
